Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard just celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary, but the joyous occasion sparked controversy after Bell posted a photo of herself in Shepard’s arms with a caption quoting him saying he would “never kill” her, despite being “heavily incentivized” to do so.

Bell captioned the post: “Happy 12th wedding anniversary to the man who once said to me: ‘I would never kill you. A lot of men have killed their wives at a certain point. Even though I am heavily incentivized to kill you, I never would.’”
