One of the most annoying trends to make an impact on TikTok in recent memory (and that’s saying something) is the trend of “trying to cook things in unconventional places.”

While this can occasionally result in some cool or mostly harmless experiments, it can sometimes also result in people becoming absolute terrors in public. Case in point, this self-proclaimed pasta expert who tried to show people how easy it is to make pasta by doing so while seated in an airplane.

In her video, TikTok user Katie (@buonapastaclub) can be seen pouring the ingredients for pasta into a bowl and making it on the tray table. Ignoring the fact that airplanes are incredibly dirty, and that having loose flour on a flight is bad for both cleanup and anyone with an allergy, this is primarily just obnoxious behavior.

Seriously, I get that making pasta is easier than one might think, but you know how you can demonstrate that? At home, away from people who don’t want their carry-on covered in all-purpose grains.

In short, if you attempt this on a flight next to me, I’m treating you like an attempted hijacker.
