Addiction and substance abuse can be a devastating and life altering condition. For some people it can literally consume every aspect of their lives, causing them to put feeding their addiction above everything else in their lives, including their family, their health, their friends and relationships, and even their job or career.

In this clip from A&E's Intervention, Josh's addiction takes everything he has worked for in life in less than 2 years. So addicted to and dependent on alcohol, he has resorted to drinking bottles of hand sanitizer to feed his need. Fortunately, he did agree to undergo rehab treatment and was reportedly still sober as the airing of the show
