If you weren’t going to see The Naked Gun starring Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson, would the thought of them in flagrante delicto really get you into the theater?

I don’t have the answer, but somewhere, some nerd in a suit at Paramount thinks it would.

If you haven’t heard, Anderson and Neeson are officially “dating.” The thing is, something seems off here. I don’t want to sound like I hate love and all that gooey stuff, but I’m impervious to being made the fool.

Anderson and Neeson have been making the rounds promoting their new film, which, to be honest, looks like a dud. And while sure, they could have built a real connection during their time on set, I don’t buy it. What convinced me I was right is the clearly staged video of the pair being “caught kissing” before their interview on The Today Show.

So I’ll ask again: Staged or not, does this really make you want to see The Naked Gun if you weren’t interested in it in the first place?
