Social Robotics, the creators of the Rizzbot, are suing streamer iShowSpeed (Darren Jason Watkins Jr.) for beating the crap out of their little robot during his stream in September, when the two met in Austin during Speed’s U.S. tour, according to a petition reviewed by TechCrunch.

The creators of Rizzbot alleged that Watkins caused “irreparable damage” to the robot when he choked, hit and threw the bot around his trailer. They claim the damage prevented Rizzbot from partaking in other commercial opportunities, including appearing in a MrBeast video and a segment on CBS’s The NFL Today.  

Rizzbot is currently being rehabilitated and in a statement to Tech Crunch said, “Hopefully you’ll see my gyrating hips on some new TV appearances shortly — stay tuned, fam.”

While I never condone violence, Watkins should have taken Rizzbot out when he had the chance.
