In a recent appearance on the “American Alchemy” podcast, hosted by Jesse Michels, Joe Rogan lays out his case for the second coming of Jesus Christ. And it is without a doubt the funniest thing Joe Rogan has said into a podcast mic, if you can believe it.

Rogan, who has always been a fan of pyramid theories and occult history, reveals a new side of himself to Michels, specifically, the side of him invested in Jesus’ return. Rogan’s idea is this: Jesus Christ may one day return, not as a physical person, but as “artificial intelligence.”

Joe doesn’t specify which large language model Jesus would choose to reincarnate himself into, so it could be ChatGPT or Gemini, heck, it could even be Grok, but Joe does seem to believe that Jesus' reincarnation as AI is certain.

Rogan, laying out his idea, says, “Jesus was born of a virgin mother. What’s more virgin than a computer? If Jesus does return, even if he was a physical being in the past, you don’t think he could return as artificial intelligence? But with the powers of Jesus?”

He argues that this AI Jesus would love you, read your thoughts and “wouldn’t mind if you killed it,” because it would just “return to God.”

Be careful, kids, this is your brain on ChatGPT.
