They got him good.

When two parents went viral on Halloween for their combined 6-7 costume, many people online hoped it signalled the end of the brainrot meme. But the 6-7 dance is still going strong — so strong that many schools in the U.K. have banned it outright.

A fact that U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer clearly didn’t know. During a visit to a primary school this week, a student successfully baited him into performing the gesture. Starmer later apologized, deflecting blame and saying he “didn’t start it” when confronted by the headteacher.

According to the BBC, Starmer was reading with students when they turned to pages 6 and 7. One student, knowing he wasn’t allowed to perform the meme, simply stated the obvious, and Starmer did the rest, hand gestures and all.

For those who can’t comprehend the magnitude of the moment, imagine baiting Obama with a “deez nuts” joke.
