Lana Del Rey Goes Alligator Hunting

When Lana Del Rey married Jeremy Dufrene, a swamp tour boat operator, last fall in a surprise wedding, her fans — and everyone else — thought she was off her rocker. But according to her Instagram, her journey from L.A. to L.A. (i.e., Louisiana) has been a happy and authentic transition.

In a recent upload, she can be found hunting for alligators, swinging on a pole on a fishing boat and spending time with Dufrene’s family. She genuinely looks happy, and though she might not be the best alligator hunter, at least she’s having a blast in the bayou.

Something her critics could never say for themselves.
