While driving, this truck driver noticed that something was wrong with the bridge that he was on. He tried to apply the brakes, but it wasn’t fast enough. And so, the front of his car slid off the edge of a now-collapsed bridge.

Both he and onlookers attempted to call authorities, but there was no cell phone reception in the area. Fortunately, he was soon rescued by the fire department, who managed to swing a ladder to him. The bridge has since been closed off.
