Leonardo DiCaprio Says An Agent Tried to Change His Name to ‘Lenny Williams’
Somehow, the name didn’t stick.

In a recent podcast interview with the Kelce brothers (I know, weird world we’re living in), Leonardo DiCaprio revealed several interesting facts about his life.
First, he told the brothers that he used to be a breakdancer and that he would, as a child, breakdance on the street for money.
If that weren’t enough of a revelation, DiCaprio also divulged that, when he got his first agent, the man told him that his name was too “ethnic.” Discrimination against Italians ain’t so funny now, huh?
Anyway, rather than try to convince people to simply look past his name, the agent’s solution was changing it to “Lenny Williams.”
While DiCaprio was initially receptive, he says that his dad took issue with it, tearing up a photo of the agent and saying that his name would be changed “over my dead body.”
To think, we could be talking about how “Lenny Williams” only dates women a third his age!
It's incredible that he was rejected several times at the beginning of his career, and the idea of changing his name to Lenny Williams is crazy . I mean, his real name 'Leonardo DiCaprio' was always perfect pic.twitter.com/bSRRCK4HuF
