His stupid ass.

We all have set, kindergarten-level ideas of how animals are supposed to look. Ask me to draw a giraffe, and I’ll give you a general outline of some kind of creature with tall legs and a long-ass neck. Sure, it won’t be *good*, but it will be a close enough to a giraffe for you to determine that I actually have at least a few brain cells kicking around up there.

That’s why it can be pretty jarring when you see an animal that bucks your expectations. In this case, it’s a crocodile that was born without a tail — and it looks pretty goddamn stupid.
