Man Calls Yonkers Police on Their Bluff, Asks Officers to Escort Him Home

Recently, police in Yonkers, New York put out an advertisement noting that, if you’re in trouble, the police can escort you home. How nice, right? A police force that actually looks out for the well-being of the citizens it lords over!

Seeing this ad, one guy decided to put it to the test. He walked into the police station and asked one simple question: Can you escort me home?

The police officer responded that they don’t do that — to which the person in the station answered by playing the aforementioned ad. Defeated, the cop left in search of a car.
