I cannot count the amount of umbrellas I’ve lost in my life. Every time I think “Okay, *this* time, I’m going to remember to actually bring this back with my after the rain stops,” I don’t do it. If I walk onto a train or into a cab holding the thing, it’s as good as gone!

Rather than change my behavior or, God forbid, learn something, I’ve mostly decided to just ditch the umbrella altogether and tough it out every time I go outside in the rain. Maybe this guy should have done the same:
