Man Doing F-15 Ride Along Accidentally Ejected While Still on the Ground
At least he didn’t do it in the air!

A backseat passenger on an F-15D Eagle appears to have ejected himself from the plane as it was still taxiing before an incentive flight.
In video of the aftermath of the event, you can see that the rear canopy of the plane has been blown off, and that the man who was previously a passenger in the plane is now crawling along the runway.
Why and how did this happen? No one is sure, though The War Zone notes that people have accidentally launched themselves out of fighter jets before (albeit rarely).
If this was this dude’s incentive flight, well, I hope he gets another crack at it that doesn’t involve cracking his neck on the pavement.
An F-15 backseater from Barnes Ops tested its zero/zero ejection seat today (zero elevation and airspeed). It appears successful, but someone has some explaining to do. pic.twitter.com/QJxed8DhP1

The backseater survived and the runway was shut down. You can see the cockpit… pic.twitter.com/9ZIAV9ENPl
