Missing a flight sucks — and most of the time, if you ask the airline for help, they’ll just tell you to get bent until the next flight. Sorry, but some of us have places to be!

So, if you find yourself stuck in an airport, you might think there’s nothing you can do to improve your situation. As it turns out, you *can* make things better — by chatting up one of the airport workers until they invite you to come party with them.
