Getting jumped has got to be, well, scary of course, but mostly surprising. You’re just going around minding your own business, then boom, somebody comes up to you demanding your backpack. Please, sir, let me erase my laptop hard drive first!

If you find yourself in such a situation, you can react in one of two ways. First, you can give in and hand over everything they want. Second, you can do what this guy did and fight back. In this case, the latter worked.
