Recently, a parent in Snellville, Georgia searched around their property only to discover their worst fear had come true: Their 10-year-old autistic son had gone missing.

Frantic, the boy’s mother called the police, and soon, the entire neighborhood was on high alert, with local police employing the use of helicopter-mounted infrared cameras in order to assist with the search.

After two-and-a-half hours, they found the boy just 200 yards from his home. When they found him, he was clearly doing alright, as evidenced by the fact that he kept hitting the griddy.

He was later looked at by paramedics before being reunited with his family.
