Footage has surfaced of a tiny band from Las Vegas. You may have heard of them. They're called The Killers.
But before their debut album 'Hot Fuss', before the memes and the videos that came out of 'Mr. Brightside', The Killers were just an unknown group of dudes from Las Vegas, Nevada. They were playing clubs and small shows just like every other band who's ever tried to make it big.
What I love about this video more than anything is the crowd's behavior. Hindsight is totally 20/20. But man this is what it was like going to shows back in the early 2000's. You went to seedy clubs and venues trying to find bands that you liked to listen to. You'd bob your head and dance a bit. But these people have NO IDEA what this song would become. Obviously. It makes this video even cooler to see in retrospect.
