It’s a bit of a played out comparison at this point, but MrBeast isn’t doing a lot to limit the comparisons between himself and Saw antagonist Jigsaw. While Jigsaw tortured people to teach them the value of life or something, MrBeast does it so he can make a lot of money on YouTube — and then share some of those spoils with the torturee! How altruistic!

Recently, it seems like MrBeast has been running low on ideas. That, or he’s just become increasingly sadistic, as several stunts have people questioning where the “entertainment” line stops and the “oh my god he’s actually going to end someone’s life” line starts.

For example, in a recent video, he challenged a stuntman to complete seven, in his words, “death traps.” The first, which occurs in the first 30 seconds of the video, involves the man being tied up in a burning building, then being forced to escape.

People got mad about this, for some reason, which prompted MrBeast to state, “We had ventilation for the smoke and a kill switch to cut off the fires. We had professionals test this extensively and the guy in the video as stated is a professional stunt man.”

Okay, so the stunts weren’t literally death traps. But, Jimmy, you’re the one that said that, not us!
