NASCAR Driver Knocks Himself Out While Trying to Get Out of Car
It’s a dangerous sport even when you *don’t* crash!

NASCAR driver Connor Zilisch suffered a collarbone fracture following a race he won last week. That’s right: I said “following” a race win, because while most people might get injured during the actual course of their sport, Zilisch went down because he attempted to stand up in his car to celebrate — and promptly fell right onto his shoulder.
While there were initial concerns about a concussion or worse head injury, he says that CT scans showed he was fine — though his car has been withdrawn from future events for the time being.
