Despite what the media might tell you about Catholicism being “trendy” at the moment, things are really in the shitter for Christianity. While the religion has been working hard to recruit new members, its numbers as a share of the global population have remained consistent for some time, and in places like the United States, the popularity of the religion has fallen precipitously.

Seeing this, the people who either a) really want you to go to heaven, or b) rely on your conversion for their paycheck really, really want to convince you to give yourself over to the Lord. And so, they’re finding new and exciting ways to do that — such as the efforts of these Brazilian nuns, who took to television to preach the gospel, dance, and, uh, beatbox.
