Officer Reprimanded for Taking Pictures of Woman’s Feet During Traffic Stop

You’re not allowed to ask to pull someone over to get feet pics.

Feet guys have always been a little too comfortable sharing their interests with the world. Look at any picture that even shows a hint of toes and you’ll find a small army in the comments begging for more.

Sometimes, these people will get so bold as to try to snap pics of strangers’ feet in public. One incident of this behavior recently caught people’s attention, as the foot-photo culprit was not just some random creep, but a creep that also happened to be a cop.

Basically, a woman was pulled over in Oak Ridge, Tennessee while she happened to be driving barefoot. As she waited for officers to process her information, she rested her feet on her steering wheel. One cop saw this and decided to take a pic — which, according to subsequent conversation captured on their dashcam, appeared to be common practice for the officers.

An attorney later filed a complaint with the police squad — not saying he would sue them, but basically telling them to stop taking photos of his client’s feet and of suspects’ feet in general. The police station responded by saying that it had reprimanded the two officers involved.

But, next time you’re trying to get out of a moving violation, it might be worth it to flash a few toes. Why not?

@attorneychristmas Dash Cam video of Oak Ridge, Tennessee Police officers caught secretly taking pictures of a woman’s feet during a traffic stop for speeding. I want to be clear that I do not believe this is a reflection on all officers at ORPD. I have encountered some who are good officers and truly want to help. #oakridgetn#tennessee#policeaccountability#caughtoncamera#attorneychristmas♬ original sound - Attorney Christmas
