Nikolas Cruz was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for each of 17 charges of first-degree murder. He also received a life sentence for each count of attempted first-degree murder, one for each of the 17 he wounded, during the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting.
