Last week, prominent conservative Charlie Kirk was assassinated while debating violence in Utah. In the days since, his fans have been posting tributes to him — and some of them have been very, very weird.

While a fair number of people have written statements about how Kirk’s controversial words and actions impacted their lives, others have opened their A.I. programs to generate some of the oddest tribute videos known to man.

For example, in one video, Kirk, wearing an American flag shirt, runs awkwardly into heaven and is promptly hugged by Jesus himself. In another, a cowboy SpongeBob sings an A.I.-generated tribute song, complete with cowboy hat and guitar.
