This footage was captured over Antioquia Colombia, by a pilot named Jorge Arteaga. In the clip, an oblong-shaped object appears to soar past Arteaga's propeller plane, resembling many past alleged UFOs.
"Watching this short clip reminded me of the documentary on Bob Lazar: Area 51 & Flying Saucers," one person commented. He also shared pictures of the infamous tic-tac-shaped UAPs filmed by Navy F-16s. Other people had different, more terrestrial ideas. "That's a freaking Navy Drone," one person said. "We have photos of them on Carriers."
As with any UAP sighting, more logical heads searched for answers that didn't involve aliens or fancy military tech. "It’s a balloon and it’s not even moving," one person said. "It’s just an illusion from being in a vehicle (this case a plane) moving towards and then away from an object." He wasn't the only one that thought so. "That's a stationary object like a mylar balloon and the plane is moving quickly past it," another person said. This seems like the most logical explanation. But when you're flying in a single-engined plane above the clouds, how much does logic apply?
