Sounds pretty evil to me.

Sounds pretty evil to me.
Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping were caught on a “hot mic” talking about organ transplants and immortality, musing that being 70 years old is like being a “baby” and that sometime this century the human lifespan could reach upwards of “150 years.”
In Beijing for a military parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, the two strongmen were walking together, with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un in tow, when Putin’s translator was overheard saying in Chinese, “Human organs can be continuously transplanted. The longer you live, the younger you become, and [you can] even achieve immortality.”
Xi was then heard responding in Chinese, “Some predict that in this century humans may live to 150 years old.” Putin later confirmed to reporters that the two had discussed life-extending improvements in biotechnology.
I have a hard time believing this conversation was spontaneous. I just can’t figure out why they’d want us to overhear them talking about harvesting people’s organs to prolong their lives.
But I’m sure there’s nothing sinister afoot at all.
Quite a hot mic moment on CCTV in Beijing today as Putin and Xi, both 72 years old, are caught casually talking about living to 150 and maybe forever thanks to organ transplants. (As picked up by Bloomberg.) pic.twitter.com/kC4VTRaobq
