Reliving the Moment Shohei Ohtani Hit a Home Run Right Into a Child’s Face
Savor that bruise, kid — you’ve been struck by a legend!

Baseball has a reputation for being somewhat of a boring sport. While it may *technically* be America’s past time, we all know that we prefer the sports where people are battling over a ball rather than throwing it around (especially if they’re slamming into each other while they do it!).
That said, baseball has been reinvigorated in recent years by a few different factors, but let’s be honest, one factor in particular: the arrival of Shohei Ohtani. He’s a remarkable player and, while he was previously thought to be not very dramatic, the whole “gambling scandal” brought him into the spotlight in an entirely different way that, as Americans, we can’t get enough of.
He also hit this kid in the face last year, so that’s fun. It’s going around again, so why not relive it in the year of our Lord 2025?
