The plane, featuring German markings on its wings, was able to land safely on the highway. However, one of the wings clipped the divider causing the plane to catch fire. It is unknown whether or not the plane is a replica or an actual vintage WWII-era plane. The pilot suffered only some singed hair from the resulting fire.
