Europe is sick of Americans.

Although summer is nearly over, if you’re planning a trip to Europe in the next couple of weeks, there are some things you need to know, lest you face a fine of up to 2,100 euros.

According to CBS Mornings’ Tony Dokoupil, Europe has imposed a series of restrictions on tourists coming to its shores, and some of them are a bit strange. For example, in Spain, Italy, France and Greece, it’s now illegal to drive a rental car barefoot or in open-toed shoes, including sandals. The fine for doing so is $350.

Meanwhile, Barcelona, Cannes and Venice have all banned tourists from walking around town while wearing their bathing suits. This includes boardshorts and bikinis. Dokoupil references something called “church rules” and states the fine for breaking them is $1,750.

Lastly, the city of Albufeira, Portugal, has prohibited “spitting on the ground,” “public urination” and “public sex acts.” The fine for committing them is $2,100.

If this all sounds good to you, go and enjoy your trip. But if you don’t think you can resist spitting on the ground while shopping in your bathing suit before boning your wife on the Seine, maybe you should go to Vegas instead. I heard they’re having specials.
