Russian Mosquito Season Looks Absolutely Miserable
In case you needed another reason not to move to Russia.

The internet can give you a pretty skewed perception of Russia. Looking online, you might think that all the country has going for it is vodka, weapons, dash cams and bears. However, while all those things might be true, the country is also home to a lot of incredible history and art, and while now might not be a great time to visit, there’s certainly value that can be gained from a tourist trip to this part of the world.
That said, if you’re going to visit, you should probably avoid this area. In the Sakha Republic, also known as Yakutia, summer means mosquitos — and a lot of them. Just watch this video and you’ll be able to see why most people would rather die than spend a few days there.
Yakutiya is plagued in record numbers, hundreds per orc & sends its congratulations and kudos to the Mosquito Division of the #NAFO Biolabs. https://t.co/rJrGVJlVLrpic.twitter.com/EJPPkeKAA8
