San Francisco’s ‘Underground’ Robot Fight Club Is Predictably Lame
And it looks incredibly dork-coded. Sigh.

SF tech nerds have finally reached peak SF tech nerd form, with the release of UFB (Ultimate Fighting Bots), a new “underground” robot boxing league.
I regret to inform you that it’s obviously not cool, nor do the robots kill each other. They kind of flop around and trip over themselves while occasionally landing a few soft punches.
I’m not anti robots fighting. Personally, I think BattleBots are cool. But I’ll save my time for when these bots are able to rip each other limb from limb.
Nice try SF, but you’re still lame.
UFB is the Fight Club for Humanoids.
