If you haven’t been keeping up-to-date with our nation’s enemies list, China is quickly becoming our number one opponent.

As such, our media is becoming filled with stories of all the ways China will defeat us, how much the country is threatening American industry and all the different crazy, otherworldly technology they’re developing behind the scenes.

One such piece of technology was recently revealed by U.S. Senator Bill Hagerty. While talking about disputes between India and China, he declared that, 35 years ago, China used “electromagnetic weapons to literally melt Indian soldiers.”

Of course, this didn’t actually happen — that we know about. Honestly, if China has a weapon that can literally melt people, maybe a little fear *is* justified.
