Softball isn’t a game that gets a lot of mainstream attention. That doesn’t mean it’s not interesting — a good softball game is a great watch, especially when something like this happens.
The University of Oregon Ducks were facing off against Ole Miss when, during a throw, pitcher Lyndsey Grein dislodged a chunk of dirt with her cleat. Her pitch somehow hit the dirt square-on, causing fragments of it to end up in the catcher’s eye.
