The shawarma is one of the great inventions of history. It’s an idea that’s lasted for hundreds of years — so long, in fact, that Ottoman historians say that people of the nation basically invented the steam engine solely to turn meat.

One of the many beautiful things about kebab is that, no matter where you go, a kebab is going to be cheap. For just a few bucks, you can have a tasty meal — or, if you’re this guy, you can save those dollars by breaking into the kebab shop with a mask on wielding a machete.

A suspect was soon arrested, and the owners of the shop now say they look at the incident with humor — especially because the dumbass robber forgot to grab pita bread. Idiot!

A masked man broke into a restaurant in Canada with a sword, stole Shawarma, and began slicing the meat himself before placing it in a plastic bag and fleeing the scene.
