Nothing like bringing a girl back to your high school science classroom!

When a school falls into disuse, cities frequently have a problem selling them. There’s just not much one can do with a school; they’re built for one specific purpose, and when that purpose is gone, you can’t just turn it into apartments or offices without a considerable amount of work.

Alternatively, you can basically just leave it as-is and turn it into a home, as this family did. The result isn’t exactly comfortable, but it’s pretty interesting to see.
