Ever since Micky Thorton was a kid, he knew he wanted an epic pool that didn't feel like swimming in a "little box." 320 yards of gunite, 40,000 pounds of rebar and estimated half a million gallons of water later, his dream came true. Construction started on Labor Day Weekend, 1993.
