Quite frankly, I’m tired of all these new-fangled exercises that keep coming out. At this point, we’ve basically figured out how to be fit — we don’t need a million new “exercise experts” coming out of the woodwork to say that the only way you’ll really get jacked is repeatedly dislocating your shoulder.
On that note, butt jumps, also known as bum skipping. What is it? Well, it’s exactly what it sounds like: you sit on your ass, then try to jump rope. What does it do? Well, nothing; unless you’re just doing it because it looks interesting, there’s not really a physical benefit that you get from this that can’t be achieved by doing pretty much anything else.
But if you want to bruise your butt by bouncing up and down on it, be my guest.
