Over the last few years, the Savannah Bananas have gone from goofy baseball entertainers (aka the Harlem Globetrotters of the sport) to one of the biggest acts in entertainment. In April, the Bananas sold out Clemson University’s Memorial Stadium, which seats 83,000 people.
Their fun approach to the game has resonated with the kids and is changing the way Little Leaguers play. Here, for example, we have one young lad who rides a toy car out to the batter’s box:
