Lately, a lot of tech firms have become obsessed with the idea that we can develop robot-only alternatives to classic sports. The problem is, every attempt to do so has, to date, sucked. For example, remember the A.I. autonomous car race in Abu Dhabi? Yeah, neither do I — because it stunk!

Now, some tech people have developed “robot basketball,” where robots are trained to, well, play basketball.

And, it’s bad, too. Seriously, leave it to the humans — this is one of the few things we’ve got!
