This Is How Little You Make Working for DoorDash Even If You Accept Every Single Order for 12 Hours
If you thought it was a decent way to make money, well, we’ve got some bad news.

A man recently shared a video showing what he made after accepting every single DoorDash order for 12 hours, and if you were thinking about getting into the DoorDash game, this might put you off of it.
According to him, after 12 hours of consistent work, he earned about $215 gross — a total that doesn’t account for things like tax, gas costs, insurance and car wear-and-tear.
If you were to take these into account using the IRS standard mileage rate for self‑employed drivers, self-employment tax rates and state taxes, that means his take-home pay is likely around $100 for 12 hours of work, or around $8.33 per hour. For context, Virginia’s minimum wage is $12.41.
