There's no argument or debate that drunk driving or driving while under the influence of drugs is responsible for thousands of deaths a year and the cause of tragedy and heartbreaks for victims and the families affected by it.

According to the NHTSA, drunk driving causes more than 10,000 deaths every year, and is responsible for about 1/3 of all traffic-related deaths. Drivers aged 21 to 24 account for 27% of all fatal alcohol-impaired crashes, followed closely by 25 to 34 year olds (25%).

In recent years, a tactic to help fight against drunk and drugged driving has people questioning the legality and legitimacy of 'drug recognition experts' training for police that allows them to arrest you for DUI / DWI even if you're 100% sober.
