A real estate company in South Los Angeles is planning to make waves in the affordable housing market.

Thrive Living has announced the plan which would bring 184 units reserved for low-income families to the 800 unit apartment complex. And yes, it would be built above a Costco store. Costco would be convenient for multiple reasons, most importantly, the location would include a pharmacy and optometrist.

The bargain shopper in me would be thrilled to live above Costco. Not to mention the free samples, hot dogs, and Kirkland swag. It would be a dream come true.
