This Woman Was Roasted for Freaking Out at the Airport. Turns Out, She May Have Been Right

Earlier this week, a video went viral that purported to show a woman freaking out after being denied boarding on a Ryanair flight. The reason she was denied, several outlets said, was that her bag was too big for the bag sizer.
However, new video that emerged *after* the freakout clip shows that the woman was, in fact, able to fit her bag in the sizer. Sure, it took a little bit of effort, but still. Despite this, she was refused boarding anyway. So what gives?
Well, it’s hard not to look at this video without noting that Ryanair’s Michael O’Leary recently confirmed that workers would be receiving a bonus for every “oversized” bag they identify — or remembering that in America, Frontier Airlines gave their workers so many similar bonuses that it eventually inspired a lawsuit alleging that the airline was incorrectly flagging bags that properly fit into its sizers.
Just goes to show that not every airplane freakout is just someone being crazy — though, let’s be honest, a lot of them are.
