Across Japan, many city dwellers own what are known as “kei cars” or “kei trucks.” These are small, low-powered vehicles with a minimal footprint, perfect for cities with lots of people and tight parking.

For decades, these cars have been the obsession of every American weeb. President Trump has apparently looked at these anime fans and thought, “You know what? These folks don’t just need a shower — they need a win.”

And so, Trump recently announced that he’s “authorized the secretary to immediately approve the production of those cars.” He further stated that the cars, which can be seen around not only Japan but other population-dense areas, are “very small” and “cute.”

So, if you were thinking about importing a vintage kei truck, you might be able to get one made in this country soon enough. Sure, it came at the cost of a lot of necessary regulations, but wheeee! Cute car!
