Typhoon Wipha Is Blowing People Around Like Ragdolls
Hide ya kids, hide ya wife.

A typhoon is wreaking havoc on China as videos of people being lifted off their feet are beginning to circulate online. The typhoon prompted Hong Kong to issue its highest storm warning as Wipha was classified as a Category 1 hurricane.
While videos of women and children being slung around like trash make us laugh, the damage caused by Wipha is still being assessed. If you remember, back in April, China issued a warning urging “light people” to stay indoors, noting anyone under 91 pounds could be swept away.
And although most people joked about the warning at first, it wasn’t clearly a laughing matter.
Typhoon Wipha disrupted travel and daily life across Hong Kong and southern China today, grounding over 400 flights and affecting around 80,000 passengers in Hong Kong alone.
