President Donald Trump was forced to take the stairs today as he entered the United Nations General Assembly after the escalator he was on shut down the moment he stepped foot on it.

Of course, in our completely normal world, people don’t think it was a glitch or malfunction; they think someone at the U.N. turned it off on purpose.

In fairness, the timing is odd. I’m sure the U.N. performs routine maintenance on their escalators. At the same time, for it to give out just as the President of the United States was about to begin riding it? That’s strange.  

Now, if, say, his teleprompter also malfunctioned before he began his address, then I’d say some trolling was afoot.
