In the wake of the rapper's death, we look back at the impact he had on people's lives, and the passion he always had for music.
Welcome to the University of Central Lancashire in Preston, England. This video was posted back in 2013, but still might be one of the coolest we've ever seen.
As the story goes, Coolio had made a guest appearance at a club show in the neighborhood. Kelly Maguire and her friends then invited the rapper back to their apartment, and he kindly obliged. Not only did Coolio come back to their place, but he cooked a three-course meal for the students, and put on a stunning acoustic performance of his hit 'Gangsta's Paradise.' He even freestyles a bit, adding a so-called fourth verse to the song. Just an incredible human and musical artist.
The guy genuinely loved music with a passion, and he will definitely be missed. Rest in peace, Coolio.
