Umpire Cancels Little League Game After Parents Heckle Him Too Much

Did they forget that this is a game with literal children?

Who knows why Boomers and Gen-Xers act the way that they do? One would think that being born into some of the most blessed generations of all time would give you a rosier outlook on life. But, as anyone who’s had to spend a lot of time with this cohort can tell you, they’re anything but cheerful. In their eyes, every moment when they’re not the center of attention is just another opportunity to be wronged — and if they feel they’re not being 100 percent catered to, they’re going to piss and moan until they get their way.

This especially applies when it comes to their children. They may love their *own* kids, but everyone else’s child is an enemy. This makes something like sports difficult, as a certain group of parents will always feel the need to scream at the refs that their little Grayson isn’t being treated like the prince that he is.

Occasionally, this leads the game officials to snap.
