Lady Gaga's dog walker, a guy named Ryan Fischer, was shot while walking her dogs and two of the three dogs were stolen. Ryan clung to the third one until medical help arrived and he is now in the hospital.

Stealing celebrities' dogs is not an unheard of crime but it's definitely an odd one. Hopefully the dogs are fine and Ryan recovers fully.
