It’s probably religious or something.

India is known for having some pretty over-the-top celebrations. For example, did you know that one town in India builds a 300-ton chariot every year? I know, crazy!

In this celebration, a chain and metal pole are placed into a fire. Then, they’re removed — at which point people do a jerk-off motion to them. What this symbolizes is a total mystery to me, and Google searches for “indian men whack off hot metal” have only given me results I don’t want to talk about.

Still, the video is pretty wild!
